Pop of Color Musicians:
Bridgeport musician, Joe Kiernan is a versatile guitarist with roots in blues, jazz, rock, Latin & acoustic styles. He has been performing for the last 20 plus years in the United States and South America.
Joe has played alongside with many musicians in the New York and Connecticut area including greats like Les Paul and Ronnie Earle. Currently Joe plays in the Connecticut area where he is also a music teacher. Formerly teaching in Bridgeport, he teaches in the Norwalk school district.
Joe believes music is one of life’s gifts, and passing it on to the next person is the best gift of all. Weaving intricate melodies while finding a soulful voice on the guitar is what a Joe is known for.
Versatile Bassist Rich Zarkowski going by the name of “In the Key of Z” , Father and Daughter, Rich Zurkowski and Chloe Zurkowski make their debut At this year’s Pop of color event.

He was a musician for a very long time. Then he met her and his whole life changed. For as long as either of them can remember They have played and sang together, for nothing else but the joy of it.
Bassist/Composer Steve Clarke is a Park City Treasure. He is one of the artists that will Be Performing at A Pop of Color. A great opportunity to see Steve perform in a very intimate setting.
Born and raised in Bridgeport CT. Steve played and taught music solely for over 25 years and performed with Marion Meadows, Vincent Ingala, Phillip Denny, Tom Browne, Estaban, Marcus Anderson, Adam Haley, Ragan Whiteside, Victor Fields, Sherry Winston.
His new “Live in Europe” CD with Walter Fischbacher and Viaco Deczi, recorded Live on 2016 Tour in CZ. Steve has released CD’s,(latest release “Sparkle”) under his own name and has recorded on 58 CD’s of various artist.

City Lights Gallery and Bridgeport Art Trail present an evening of music and poetry at the historic Bijou Theatre CT, showcasing music videos by Bridgeport area musicians Ricardo Reyes, Fuzz Sangiovanni and Caravan of Thieves, Pigeon English, Color Fields with John Torres and Scott Packham, Lines West, Chris Cavaliere and Greater Bridgeport Symphony. Many of the videos feature Bridgeport locations. Live music will be performed by Lys Guillorn, Rob Nelson, Fuzz Sangiovanni and Pigeon English, Lyrical Voices Night of Poetry & Arts ~ An Open Mic will also present a poetry open mic hosted by poet and artist Shanna Tanika Melton. Join us for an unforgettable evening as The Bridgeport Art Trail celebrates the work of local poets and musicians!
