Through a grant issued by the City of Bridgeport and the federal American Rescue Plan Act, The Klein is pleased to announce a series of free to the public master class workshops with professional artists in all fields of entertainment. The 2-hour workshops are available to young audiences primarily aged 11-24 and their families.
Each session will feature: (1) an interview with the guest artist to learn about his/her career path and influences, (2) a demonstration of the skills and craft of the artist’s field of endeavor, and (3) an interactive component where audience members are brought on stage to gain instruction in that craft. Maureen Hamill, Director of Education for Klein Theatre Arts, is the moderator.
No registration is necessary. There is ample space in our 1447-seat theater for social distancing. Masks are required. A livestream option is also available for all classes. Scroll down to view the livestream sign-up links.
Weekday classes start at 6:00PM, and Saturday classes start at Noon.
